I don't feel that Raspberry Partners will ever be able to destroy The Pony. If they tried, it would probably cause civil unrest. Even though we know of other venues in Asbury Park that are just as or are more important to Springstein early years, the legend of The Pony will rock on. Raspberry Partners and council better amend the plan to make sure the entertainment district is extended to include this area and others.
Hotels, restaurants, and other entertainment venues are still not being aggressively pursued by the sub par developers and the council. Whats the word on building the hotel/condo near the Palace? Is this going to happen some day? Yahoo!
