Hi Jean, Nice to hear from you. The small rooms at the tops of the stairs have been combined into larger suites, better but still not great. As to the sound - its terrible ! Thats why the black drapes were hung all over the place in the recent past. To soften the hardness of the place. However, the venue is designed for a specific purpose, to house a Theater Organ. For that it is superb, the building is actually a part of the instrument, providing the resonant cavity that the organ plays into. A complete shame that the instrument has been ruined. There is nothing like a real air powered Theater Organ to make you feel the music. Anyway, The Paramount does have great sound, it was designed for spoken live stage performances. Werner Yahoo!
