As the emblem indicates it was the Studebaker dealership building.
Haven't done any research on it, it is interesting.

In particular, notice the metal architectural/art panel at the west 
side roof line. The stucco covering is peeling away revealing the 
images of industry and progress of the time.

You can make out a train locomotive.
