IIt appears to me that the redevelopment plan wants no ties to AP's past,
and because they have slowly and painfully chipped away at the historic remains

to the point where they might as well plow down everything east and change
the name of the town.

Just some thoughts, no real question of statement. I'm still pretty
pissed off that they removed the neon lit characters and "mad-o-rama"
sign from the Casino. That was artistic, and neat looking. Even if
those types of attractions never return to the building (I hope they
will in some form or another) it would have been neat to have left it
there. more so, considering the fait of the building is unknown, it
wouldn't have killed anyone to leave it there to ponder in the future.
