Greetings,
I'm wondering if anybody here could give me some advice about how to deal with
a new
resident in a halfway house up the street from me.
Last night I was walking my dog past the halfway house, and there is a new
resident there
who started shouting crazy stuff at me, including what sounded like a threat to
kill me and
my dog. This guy is clearly a mental case. He was verbally agressive and making
nonsense
statements about me, my dog, god etc.
I'm not sure if he's really a threat, but it was definitely a disturbing
experience.
Should I call the police if this happens again, or talk to the people that run
the halfway house.
I find it really surprising that a guy like that would be allowed to live at a
halfway house,
stand on it's porch, and make verbal threats to a stranger.
Part of me just wants to ignore him should it happen again.
Any thoughts?
