Once you have the beachfront cleaned up (and it is each day), you'll
have more and more "tourists" - in the summer. That is, people coming
to beach. Plenty of people need a nice beach to go to. You're
fighting Air conditioners, home pools, Great Adv, 2 parents working
(or 1 in s ingle parent), camps and more.
People need a couple places to stay to plan a vaction.
Right now, the oceanfront has to asborb around 400 new condos- and
that's just the oceanfront. Maybe if you have nice hot day - you
might have 1,000 or more "new" people on the beach - everyday.
I think if everyone took a walk from the casino to CH, you might see
some more work being done - work that should make everyone happier.
It is/was slow, but it's "getting better" each day.
While Pier Village is "ugly" etc etc - it sure does pack'em in - and
for what? The safe feeling of walking around outside, a couple decent
places to eat (sawa,greek).
