didn't say it was the best thing for that spot. The roller skating rink/skatboarding/bmx/dance nights etc simply didn't cut it to pay just the taxes on that property. Ultimately, it's up to a town - taxpayers, schools etc to fund public activities and provide education. Could the town take the property and turn it into a park? Yes. Monmouth Beach/state built a skateboard park right on the ocean front. Prime, Prime property. It can be done. Again, it's up to the town to make the move. Unless you want to buy it and run a money losing operation. Few people like to lose money everyday while they work hard. Imagine if you could rollerblade through AP or along the oceanfront - like in Long Branch? Free, open, clean./ Yahoo!
