Apoojo your points are all valid, and no Asbury won't fare well when we look at crimes per thousand of population, per square mile, etc.
That's why I said it's a "start" ;-) However, I never in my life believed in the census numbers for AP. 17K? Yea right. Illegals don't fill out the census. The 35 or so that were living in that house that burned down weren't on the census. I'm willing to bet a few thousand people around Main Street from one end of AP to the other aren't on the census. I'm not sure which way the numbers will go in 2010. We replaced alot of multi-family homes with single family homes. However, we will have many more condo dwellers here then, but will they count in the census here if it is their second home? Hopefully the final number will be up - way up. More population means more political power, particularly in Freehold (if AP ever decides to get off its lazy but and vote in elections). --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "apoojo" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "justifiedright" > <justifiedright@> wrote: > > > > In 2006, Asbury had about 230 LESS crimes than Neptune. > > > > Its a start. > > > > sorry , dont know what prompted this post, but will chime in and > you can answer the questions, sq. size of ap vs neptune? residents ap > vs neptune? number of police ap vs neptune? dont know the stats, but > quite frankly im not impressed, bring in the state police and get rid > of the criminal element, why do you think only 50 condos sold, has > nothing to do with the market, has to do with crime and the quality > of life issues,!!!!!!!! thank you, hopefully you will answer the > questions, and not shrik them off, lol peace be with you all that > goody stuff but lets get real, this city has a problem, to ignore it, > is like to keep on burying our heads in the sand , it aint going > away!! fix it and they will come!!!!!!!!!!!! > Yahoo!
