"It's strictly for high glamour," said Michael Walker, Madison
Marquette's creative director on the Asbury Park project. "People
can pay $5 (a visit) to lie here or pay $5 to lie on the beach."

Matthew Berman, a city resident and architect serving on the
Planning Board and Technical Review Committee, asked about the pool
only being 18 inches deep.

"It's not supposed to be practical," Walker said.
