Missing the issue entirely. Its about Due-Process, public participation, and 
accounability.

Its the Law... Planning Boards, Zoning Boards, Municipalities... operate under 
legal 
processes.

The fact that you were able to witness the proceedings and participate (you 
chose not to) 
should indicate why 'getting out of the way' is not an option.
