mostly restaurants? Do you think there are more places they didn't
mention? I don't have any one thing in mind, but how's a boardwalk
full of restaruants going to do anything? I guess people may walk
around before they eat, or after. Maybe in my head im picturing an
entirley different setting then what we are probably getting.

A restaurant in each pavilion I think would be okay, that would only
make three restaruants on the boardwalk presumably. But there must
be some things that make it a boardwalk, not everything has to be
fancy and upscale. An arcade and a few prize wheels or shoot the
water in the clown's mouth game, as lame as they are, are important
because they complete the "family" aspect of the boardwalk that the
developers have been driving at from the beginning. How long can a
kid splash around in a 18 inch pool? If a family is at the beach
they could instead walk their child down to the ocean, which is
convienently already provided by mother nature. Rides would be nice
too(a carousel in the carousel house would seem to make sense but
none of us are in charge here so we'll have to pray on that).

My question is, where is all the "family fun" that they were supposed
to provide? Its not in the supper club, its not in the restaurants,
its not in the health spa or J Crew beachware store, its not in the
new 1st avenue nightclub, bars, or bakeries.

Dont get me wrong, I think all these things are terrific ideas and
could all work. I just think there need to be some carnival type
amusements or games of chance, a few pizza places or hot dog stands...

you know, make it be like... a boardwalk???
