The assailants are merely misunderstood youths that probably came from broken homes. They need rehabilitation not incarceration. Probably a better idea would be a few rounds to the head.
Jack Pitzer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Assailants sought in Asbury attack BY ED JOHNSON STAFF WRITER FEBRUARY 18, 2008 ASBURY PARK Police are looking for a band of strong-arm robbers who attacked a 16- year-old city boy on the 1000 block of First Avenue Sunday night. The victim, whose name was not released by the police, continues to recover from multiple facial lacerations as detectives try and determine who his assailants were, Detective Capt. David Kelso said. Police said the victim was walking home with a bag of groceries at about 8 p.m. when he said four men approached him and began to rough him up, Kelso said. One of the bandits grabbed the victim from behind and put him into a chokehold while two others grabbed his arms and the fourth robber pummeled him about the face, the police incident report said. The victim told the police he was knocked to the ground as the group continued to drag and hit him. He said the group escaped with his groceries and wallet, containing $400, Kelso said. Kelso said the wolf-pack type of attack is not unusual in strong-arm robberies. ""Most robberies where there's no weapon involved have multiple actors,'' he said. Police have asked anyone with information on the crime to call Detective Eugene Dello at (732) 502-5776. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
