See your use of the word "mandatory" up there?  That means you are 
proposing a law.  

Let me compare your job to mine:

Our jobs are the same - I don't make people's decisions either, 
rather give them advice like you do.

So why should I get sued if my advice turns out to be bad, but 
you're off the hook if your advice is bad?
