OF course someone will say "poor rich folks" got burned. IF you have a
retirement plan that you personally don't watch and it was invested in
"blue-chip" funds - take a hard look at your ending number.

If you played it "smart" and followed analysts/brokerage picks or
ratings, you may have lost at 30% or MORE of your investment this year.

They tried to regulate analysts and ratings a couple years ago, have
CEO's personally sign off on "audited" statements. Problems are when
they auditors can't even figure out what a firm has done. Scary.

You wonder why the older folks kept their money in a mattress or in a
canning jar and hid it.
