So what is your point? People don't care about that anymore. These are old war
stories to people that never had to live it. No one can understand what you
went through unless they went through it too. They want the government to take
of them the way mommy and daddy used to. Money for nothing and your chicks for
free.

Subject: [AsburyPark] Total Benefits Lower income familes vs Total Benefits for
low -middle and upper

All the talk about low income, the poor , the middle class, upper and
the rich and I've been trying to calculate at the end of the year,
where does each wind up if it (the household) were a business.
I need some expert midns on this and writers...
For exmaple, my wife and I go to work everyday and have mortgage
payments, taxes, medical, dental, insurance, electric, gas, water and
other nice things my parents never had like cell phone bills, cable
bills, startbucks and more... I can almost say we're not really big
spenders as vacations and the frills go. no giant flat screen tv, I
cut my own lawn and make flowers grow from other flowers.
Now, for exmaple, I have tenant "A".
The state pays $1400 towards her rent and I believe most of the
utilities (12x$1800) = $21,600 to the tenant so she and her kids ahve
a place to live (that's "tax free income" what's that, about $28,000
if it were taxed?)
When we got married a millon years ago, we moved into an apartment.
We both worked out of college, during college and more. We had really
a big ZERO when we said "I think I do..." We had her parents VW
Rabbit Disiel with about 150,000 miles on it. I wish I still had it.
I think my car died and I just rode a bike to train. We both made
about $15k per year at Merrill.
So what is the FAIR amount that the government has to fund a family
to survive today? What are the TOTAL BENEFITS (for lack of a better
word) that a family in need receives from the Federal Government,
local Gov, State, local charities etc. I don't want to tihs to come
across wrong, so I apoligize if it does. What is the answer to help
people live? BOTH poor and the 2 income family with 3 or 4 kids that
receive NO benefits....
Should all programs just be canned and give every family in the us
two cars, a 2-4 bedroom home, a $100,000 year salary, medical care,
education a couple vacations year , a 40 hour work week, food and fun?
At the same time, take away the responsbilities of marriage, raising
a family and working for what you get. Erase everyone's mortgages,
car payments and student loans, credit debt goodbye. Restore our 401k
plans and other failed moves we were dumb enough to make.
And my vote goes to....
