On Sunday, August 8, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., the Asbury Galleria located at the boardwalk’s Convention Hall Grand Arcade will host journalist and award-winning playwright, Alex Austin for a book signing and reading of his book, and upcoming podcast “The Red Album of Asbury Park Remixed”. Austin’s novel is a “look inside the topsy-turvy world of the rock and roll lifestyle and the hope, danger, love and mystery of survival.” The book reading session will include live music performances from some of the musicians whose songs will be featured on the podcast. Prior to Sunday, Austin will kick off his summer book tour with an interview Friday, August 6, 10-Midnight, on WRSU 88.7 FM, Rutgers University Austin will be interviewed on-air by Geoffrey Pape, host of the popular Overnight Sensations.
