Quick glance, I saw a beach, a boardwalk, and the words "A City That Knows Long Odds," and I thought "Asbury Park featured again." Turns out its Atlantic City with a picture with the surprising caption: "TOUGH TIMES In Atlantic City the Boardwalk is far from jammed these days. About 12,000 casino workers have lost their jobs in recent years." So I'm happy to concur with Asbury Couple's remarks below:

Is it perfect - no, but it never will be. It never will be anywhere... And while it's always important to point on when things could be better, let's have some realism. In the worst economy in a generation things here continue to move forward - albeit at a little slower pace. So complain about parking - things can and should get better. But how about a bit of perspective. At least the city's making revenue (like every other shore town) for parking as they should. ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
