Interesting that the night of Sublime, my wife and I were on the Boardwalk and we didn't see a single policemen anywhere - there were a few by the SP but usually there are at least a few of the little Madison Marquette rental/robo-officers patrolling in pairs. We hung out on a bench between Langosta and Boards and not a single officer wandered by. We saw a few by the SP working the parking meters and keeping the under 21 crowd in line, but I would have expected more of a presence.

I certainly wouldn't want people to stop coming to A.P. I just want them to pay for parking. I (and all my neighbors) would also be willing to pay for parking via a resident parking permit. It's a win/win situation for the city, residents AND our beloved visitors. Oak: I don't think anyone is writing we don't want visitors... just a solution to an obvious and easily fixed problem. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "Hinge" <hing...@...> wrote: > > I think my idea is better.
