There is a Facebook page - I think it's the Save the Trees in Asbury Park. The
info there begins:
"Because the city of AP has federal funds to improve infrastructure of the
street scape, ALL trees in the downtown zone will be cut down and younger
blossoming trees will replace the existing old lush pillars on Mattison,
Cookman, Lake and Press Plaza. I received an email this morning assuring that
all trees will be cut, non will be spared."
