Bruno Needs Foster Home to Recover In or he will be Put to Sleep...Please
read his story!
Bruno was saved from death row last Nov, 2010, and had surgery to correct
a broken leg, an injury which was intentionally done to him. He has had
some complications, and now needs a new surgery to remove the plates in his
leg. It seems that the plates are causing him severe discomfort and he
cries all night from the pain. He must be kept on round the clock pain meds
but even those do not seem to be helping. To add insult to injury, this
sweet, loving dog is being abandoned by his foster.
Now, Bruno has no foster home to go to when this surgery is complete.
Bruno needs a kind, loving, patient home where he can recuperate, preferably
with no other dogs or kids. It's been a long road for this boy, but we
think he will soon be whole again and become the lovable boy we know and love.
Without a foster home to go to, Bruno will have to be put to sleep, as
once he has his surgery, he cannot go into boarding. He is in too much pain
for him to continue without this surgery. The clock is ticking for Bruno,
as we must find him a new foster within 24 hours.

Notes from his original foster (not the one giving him up but the one that
loves him dearly yet has other fosters now and can not take Bruno back):
What an amazing good & loving boy!!!!! He kissed me the second he got out
of the transport van & all through his examine with the vet. Even with his
hind leg in so much pain he let everyone do anything & everything & never
complained! Gave each & everyone at the vet a kiss to say thank you too! Can
you believe they were going tO kill this loving boy? I love him so
much!!!! He is a Chocolate Lab/pitty mix, More lab though. I wish I had the
room right now to bring him back, to the first loving home he knew :( Please
help Bruno!
