Hmmm.... What's wrong with this picture? You purchase your $30 parking permit to park in front of your home.... ... or so you think.
All the spaces are taken and you end up parking a block away in any case... ... making your $30 permit moot. ------------------------------------------------------------- Note: Many communities that have high usage parking needs adjacent to residential areas (such as train stations, theaters, etc) will issue "resident permits" AND create a parking area for Resident Permit Only usage. Which guarantees that residents (tax payers) are not inconvenienced. Clearly the parking NEEDS and PROCESS have not been completely thought through regarding the beachfront.
