Really the city should raise the Certificate of Occupancy fee, which is really
required upon a change in tenancy.
In OT now it's $110 (I think).
Also raise the fee for title transfer upon sale of a home/condo.
Take a drive around certain parts of town and fine the property owners for
obvious code violations. Take the money and pave the muni parking lot...
you're gonna have to do something, because you can't even cover the accumulated
sick time by city employees.
