Yeah, you have lot's of housing units on your block, but mine only has 3, not 
including the apt. down the street which has it's own lot.
Of the 3 housing units on my block, one is only occupied in the summer, and the 
owner of the other doesn't drive, so he doesn't own a car.
That leaves me and my downstairs neighbor as the lone residents on my block. I 
chose not to by the permit as I've just accepted walking a little further. I 
figured that in the non-summer months I could return to parking out front. 
If the city is going to require a permit to park from Sept. until May for 
residents on my block they are out of their minds. Paid parking is really a 
vehicle to gain funds from tourists, not a tiny select group of residents as in 
the case on my block.
