Their (Loffredo) concern is what compensation the city will receive. As for #1 - it started with Reidy making a statement about Rita making false and disrespectful statements about the council thru letters to the editor at The Coaster. She than took her 3 minutes at the mic to call council members liars and confront the mayor about the cost of his health insurance plan. It was pretty tense and awkward. Every time she's spoken at a council meeting she seems like the most miserable person in AP. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, cbrianwatkins@... wrote: > > Any specifics on #3? > > Anything Live Nation is involved with scares me, and anything MM has their > hands on really scares me > > > And if you wouldn't mind going into #1 a bit more that would be great (slow > day at the office, could use a laugh) > > Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry > > -----Original Message----- > From: "Hinge" <hinge98@...> > Sender: AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com > Date: Thu, 22 Sep 2011 16:11:11 > To: <AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com> > Reply-To: AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [AsburyPark] A couple of notes from last nights council meeting > > 1)The confrontation between Rita Moreno (sp?) and the council was amazingly > entertaining > 2)The city made more than $800k in parking revenue this past summer > 3)Live Nation/MM have something huge planned at the North Beach next year > 4)The parking plan sounds like it's being modified, but no details > 5)The city is dismayed by the condition of some of our streets and are > pushing for speedy repairs > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
