A little, in that mostly I used to know where to go to find things,
and one day, I could not go there anymore.

I agree this is a concern, and it is why I made certain to state that
a google group would have multiple admins.

Google groups allows full account deletion. Maybe my issue is not so
much who holds the data, but the fact that SF.net is non responsive.
I had a friend who had someone user a similar name to him on SF.net,
and it caused him trouble in getting a job for mistaken identity.
SF.net would not even reply to emails, and when they did, they were
canned emails. Finally, getting a human on the line, 9 months later,
and they state, we can not delete accounts. SF.net just does not have
the features I feel are needed, and I do not see them coming any time
soon.

Agreed. Shame, SF.net is so huge, but they are not moving forward
with good tools for users or developers.

If they do not want to use a tracker, that is fine, they are the ones
doing the development. A changelog is still mandatory in my opinion.

The changelog is a huge source of contention with me. Some find it
rough to interact with developers. They should not have to even ask
if a bug has been resolved, this should be able to be figured out by
looking at a changelog. I sent anther email that points out some of
the issues of lack of a changelog.

Good to know, thank you. So why not remove it then? I do not want to
have users wondering which is more up to date.

I have a feeling there are too few users here to join in a voice to
make it happen. That is only a problems because of everything we have
talked about thus far though. Thanks for the discussion.
