I personally wouldn't really have a use for it, but I'll give my .02c (there is a pun in there somewhere)...
I think for people who would use chan_skype, this is probably a very good solution. If the price were reasonable, say about the same as a normal SIP provider (2c/min, or maybe a flat monthly fee), I could see it being of use. The reason people would prefer this over installing chan_skype, is the obvious X server argument. ----- Paulo Mannheimer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Peter and thanks for your feedback. > > Anyone else on this list think this is a good idea? > > You may answer to me in private if you wish - paulohm a.t. instant > dot > com dot br > > PHM > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Peter > Beckman > Sent: terça-feira, 26 de dezembro de 2006 17:55 > To: Commercial and Business-Oriented Asterisk Discussion > Subject: Re: [asterisk-biz] Skype > > > On Tue, 26 Dec 2006, Paulo Mannheimer wrote: > > > Moshe MaeirHi there just to let everybody know that the chanskype > site > > > is running a Christmas promotion ´till Dec 31st - buy 2 licenses get > > > one more free. > > Paulo -- > > Here is a better service to provide rather than your chanSkype > driver > -- > SIP to Skype.
