Hi,

I encountered two papers [1, 2] which claim that the AR5112 and 5213
support message in message mode. This would allow a receiver to
disengage from an ongoing reception, and engage onto a stronger
incoming signal.

Does anyone know if these chipsets indeed support this?

I'm not fully convinced of the experiments/arguments these papers
give, and unfortunately I don't have these chipsets to experiment
myself. However, when experimenting with an AR7010 and AR9271, I did
not observe the message in message mode support.

Cheers,
Mathy
