the digital output is definately improved on the sb2 compared to the sb1. this isn't a subjective judgement as my dac locks on to the incomming signal in a different manner according to the level of jitter - the sb2 causes the dac to lock on using the 'high quality' lock (the dac is an audio synthesis dax decade). i guess this points to the real question - how fussy are your dacs about the incomming signal? cheers
