That depends on which side of the keyboard you are sitting on. There
was no biggotry implied in that statement in the least. I just typed
about an assumption that (generally) holds true with phone support of
computer products and peripherals. Just call the Dell or Direcway
support line sometime. 

Are "offshore help centers" and "out-sourced call-centers" a bad thing
at all? Not hardly. Heres something to chew on, the statement "offshore
help center". That sounds sort of elitist by itself (see what I mean by
it depends on which side of the keyboard you are sitting on)

Honestly, no malice was implied or should be inferred by what I typed.
It was just what I was thinking at the time I called. Bottom line,
whomever answered got me up and running in minutes. In the end it's all
about customer service and responsiveness which I praised highly in the
article.

When it comes to the power supply issue, you're right. There is no
point in going there. If you can't hear it, then you can't hear it.
Just be tolerant of those that can. :-)
