I think he's referring to DAC's like the Benchmark DAC1 and the Lavry
DA10. There are plenty of details on the net about "re-clocking", which
to me, is exactly what it sounds like it is. The incoming signal is
buffered and then a more accurate clock on the DAC is used before the
D/A conversion.
