Also what audio formats can it stream. I assume it can handle WMA Lossless, if it can't do lossless then it doesn't even come close in terms of audio performance.
I would also doubt that it would be as flexible in terms of plugins etc. I also don't know where you live, but if power usage is probably something you should be thinking about. You will need a PC to hold your collection, effectively a high power PC (xBox 360) to play the music and a TV on to display the user interface.
