Search these forums, hydrogenaudio, the internet, etc for 'transcoding' There are many free products that allow you to rip to lossless (.flac). Then get another free product (e.g., foobar, Media Monkey) to convert .flac to .mp3. Warning: when using these free versions, you likely will have to download, install, and point to LAME.EXE, which is a free mp3 emulator. Or, you can pay anywhere from $15 - $30 for dbPoweramp, Media Monkey enhanced versions which include a licensed copy of a mp3 encoder.
