I would also look at the Bryston B-60 integrated. Very highly rated with a warm, tube-like sound but with the bass benefits that SS typically has. You can pick up a used one for around $800 that'll probably have an ample warranty period left (they have a 20 year, transferrable warranty). Go check out the reviews at www.bryston.ca.
