The easiest thing to do is to simply defeat auto play on your CD
drives. That will defeat the majority of the copy protection schemes
out there.

I haven't had any problems with copy protection and I've ripped almost
800 CD's. Frankly, I can't say for sure how many have copy protection
since I never see it.

There are more stringent copy protection schemes out there. It's better
to treat those on a case by case basis.
