Guys-  I have to agree with both of you.  There are modes that room
correction can't fix, but there is more to room correction than modes. 
All the stuff in your listening room will affect sound in some way. 
Diffusion, diffraction, refraction, and absorption all effect sound
differently.  Some stuff in your room may absorb high frequencies,
while other stuff might amplify midrange.  Room correction tries to fix
this.

I use a cheap Behringer between my SB and Lavry DAC and it makes a
difference.
