I didn't ignore the point about adding drives, but I wanted to do a
little research first to see whether adding drives via USB was
"seamless" on the Opus in terms of how the Opus recognizes it. Haven't
been able to find out so far. But I did discover another potential
issue, and that is regarding how do you back up all of your music on
the Opus?

Also regarding audiophiles...many of them tend to like to buy new gear
every 2-3 years. If all your music is ripped onto the Opus and you
want to get the latest and greatest product 3 years from now, how do
you get the music off the Opus and onto the new thing? At least with
network storage, you don't face this issue.
