What sort of sound pressure levels do you normally listen at? If you listen to near-live or live levels then you might find that muting analogue out makes the sound more realistic and non-fatiguing. Obviously, YMMV depending on many factors. It is hard to imagine, however, how not muting the analogue out can have any benefits (so it there is a difference, it should really be to the advantage of muting). Perhaps the CEO can shed some light on this, unless he now only bothers with "serious" stuff like the Transporter? ;-D -- P Floding ------------------------------------------------------------------------ P Floding's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26436 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
