What sort of sound pressure levels do you normally listen at?
If you listen to near-live or live levels then you might find that
muting analogue out makes the sound more realistic and non-fatiguing.
Obviously, YMMV depending on many factors. It is hard to imagine,
however, how not muting the analogue out can have any benefits (so it
there is a difference, it should really be to the advantage of muting).
Perhaps the CEO can shed some light on this, unless he now only bothers
with "serious" stuff like the Transporter? ;-D
