And even if you can't tell the difference with your existing system (which in fact it seems like you can), you may find that if/when you upgrade your system the difference becomes more discernable. peronally I find that most MP3s make the treble a little phasey (cymbols especially) and that the really low bass (mostly electronic music) does not make the floor vibrate as nicely as lossless copies.
