I noticed it. The SB3 in the bedroom uses the analog outs to an Aego2 powered sub/sat. It sounded cleaner after the upgrade to firmware 64.
I tend to keep the volume on this player quite low, so it's likely the bug was introducing noise. I also like the 100-step volume better than the 40-step.
