I have re-ripped my 1000+ cd collection to FLAC sitting on a CentOS
based, RAID-5, 1.5TB custom Linux media server box, streamed to 2 SB3's
1 SB2 and 1 SB1 throughout the house. The main system runs the SB3 as a
Transport and sends the digital output through a Musical Fidelity
Trivista DAC-21. I also run another SB3 also through Musical Fidelity X
components and Sennheiser HD-600. I have not pulled a CD off my shelf
for months. Sound is smooth, transparent, indistinguishable from the
CD's and I have the bonus of making the same FLAC collection transcoded
through the Jinzora Web Jukebox, available at any mp3 bitrate to guests
or myself remotely. Couldnt be happier...well maybe if I could afford a
Transporter!!

FLAC and Squeezebox is a fabulous "audiophile-grade" combination.
