Just to reinforce Pat's message, efficency has no direct relationship with quality, clarity or fidelity. It is a simple mechanical measure of the relationship between power in and volume out. That's all. Speaker manufacturers provide efficiency measures only as a guide to what sort of amplifier will be needed to provide sufficient volume for an application.
