The winaspi32.dll file was exactly the thing I was thinking might be
your problem.  Its a problem that plagues many versions of windows (not
just x64).  Put it in the EAC folder, and then in EAC, select the pull
down: EAC/EAC Options, click on the Interface tab, and switch to
"installed external ASPI interface".  Then Quit out of EAC, and restart
it....
