If it has a Dolby Pro-Logic II mode it must have an ADC since PLII is a
digital process.

The DSP modes are all digital as well, "virtual", "hall", "live" etc.

In such devices, the only mode that is not digital is direct/bypass. 
Some of them even use digital processing on stereo since bass
management, speaker level settings and sometimes the tone controls are
all done in the DSP (digitally).
