I think the key point here is that the hiss only seems to occur when the SB3 is connected directly to an amplifier (not an integrated amp) using the SB3's analog outputs.
I also have noticed a significant amount of hiss with the SB3 plugged directly into my PSAudio Trio A-100. However if I unplug the SB3 then turn the system back on, no hiss. So in my case, the SB3 definitely seems to be the culprit. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Is this possibly something that SlimDevices could remedy with a firmware update?
