I like opera when I cook (especially when it's pasta, for some reason...), and my kitchen is small enough to keep other people out :) I use a pair of Harbeth HL-P3ES speakers, effectively updated BBC LS3/5As, which are truly wonderful. I got them for £300 on ebay - under a third the new price. They work really well with classical and opera, if that's your thing. A pair of old Celestion SL600s might be nice too, as you won't need high sound levels normally. I imagine that these are rather marginal choices, but the main thing to remember is that BOSE stands for 'Buy Other Sound Equipment' ;) Adam -- adamslim SB3 into Derek Shek d2, Shanling CDT-100, Rotel RT-990BX, Esoteric Audio Research 859, Living Voice Auditorium IIs, Nordost and Anti-cables http://www.last.fm/user/AdamSlim/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adamslim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7355 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34423
