Suppose a pianist, every time he played the piano, had to pay a royalty to the person who invented the black keys, or the minor chord, or the system of music notation. Suppose every author had to pay somebody for the right to use the letter "t", or the comma. Hey, somebody INVENTED the comma and should be paid for it for eternity.
