There was nothing pompous about it - merely an observation that £170
doesn't buy very much these days - not even a Squeezebox.

As for uninformed, I have heard both the Wharefdales and the Quads
actually and they are both OK (I preferred the Quads). They both
represent good value for money.

My point was that the SB can live in much better company so don't
restrict your horizons (unless of course funds are the issue).
