I'm sure some do, just as some fancy audiophile speaker cables do. And some don't. I don't believe the cords I have are anything other than quality cable and connectors. The question is: If a power cord that did have a "filter" made your system sound better to your ears would you NOT use it and instead enjoy your system less just so you could remain a purist? Many people use EQ's, room correction and so forth.
