I hate peanuts, it doesn't matter how much anyone else tells me they like and enjoy them - I will not eat them.
It seems to me that the Gallo speakers are not for you - trust yourself (like I trust my judgement on peanuts). You heard them, you didn't like them, it is highly unlikely (make that virtually impossible) that this will change. Gallo make fine speakers, but speakers are a very personal taste.
