It's really hard to tell without asking pioneer, but any tech support
you get from a large company like that is not likely to know, or give
you an answer without knowing.

Either way works, merits of the two have been debated endlessly. 
Shouldn't cause any audible difference unless you have a ground
isolation problem.  In the case of grounding problems, you could get
noise over the coax link.

Personally I just use RG-6 coax with RCA ends and call it a day.
